Administration

Administration consists of three screens that allow you to view, audit, and/or manage details about users of JustPayroll. The two screens are the following:

  1. User Management
  2. Audit
  3. Email Delivery

The descriptions for the fields and the actions available in the screens are as follows:

User Management Screen

This screen shows you a listing of active and inactive users of the eSweldMo application and it allows you to manage their details. The image below shows you what this screen looks like:

User Management Action Button

The User Management screen consists of two action buttons. Their descriptions are as follows:


Edit button – Allows you modify or update details of the selected user entry.


Create User – Allows you to create a new user in the system.

The User Management screen allows you to perform multiple actions. The instructions on how to perform them are as follows:

How to Create a New User

Use the following steps to enter a new user:

  1. Click on the Create User button. After clicking on it, the Create New User screen appears:

    Note: You may close and return to the previous screen by clicking on the Cancel button.
  2. Enter all the data in the required fields.
  3. Click on the Save button. After clicking on it, the following confirmation pop-up appears:

    Note: An email will be sent to the user with his or her JustPayroll credentials.

How to Set a New Password of a User

Use the following steps to create, change, or reset the password of a user:

  1. In the User List, click on the Edit button of the user that you want to reset the password to. After clicking on it, you will see the Edit pop-up:
  2. Enter the new password on the Password field
  3. Enter the same new password on the Confirm Password field
  4. Click on the Set Password button. After clicking on it, you will see the following confirmation pop-up:

Common Errors in Setting a New Password

Here are some of the errors we might encounter when setting a new password:

Not Populating a Required Field or Passwords Do Not Match
Both Password and Confirm Password are required fields and they should be populated before clicking on the Set Password button. Furthermore, the new password entered in both fields should match before proceeding. Otherwise, neglecting the mentioned requirements for the fields will result in the following pop-up to appear:

To continue, populate the Password and Confirm Password fields with identical passwords and then click on the Set Password button.

How to Activate or Deactivate a JustPayroll User

Use the following steps to change the role of a JustPayroll user:

  1. Visually select the username entry that you want to set the password to
  2. Click on the corresponding Edit button under the Action column. After clicking on it, you will see the Edit pop-up.
  3. Under the Roles area in the Edit pop-up, select all the new roles that apply:

    Note: Consequently, the permissions (as seen in the Permission area) of the user changes as his or her role changes. Each position comes with default permission settings; however, they could be added and changed by ticking or unticking the checkboxes that corresponds to the permission name in the Permissions area.
  4. Click on the Save button. After clicking on it, you will see the following confirmation pop-up:

How to Create a New Identity

Use the following steps to enter a new RFID record for the selected user:

  1. Click on the corresponding Edit button of the entry that you want to set a new identity for. After clicking on it, you will see the Edit pop-up.
  2. Populate all the required fields in the Identities area:
  3. Click on the Add Identity button in the Identities area. After clicking on it, the new identity entry will appear:

    Note: To delete the entry, you may click on the “X” button that corresponds to it.
  4. Click on the Save button to continue. After clicking on it, you will see the following confirmation pop-up:

Common Errors in Creating a New Identity

Here are some of the errors we might encounter when adding a new identity:

Not Populating the Required Fields
All the fields in the Identities area must be filled before clicking on the Add Identities button; otherwise, warning labels appear. To continue, populate all the required fields, click on the Add Identity button, and then the Save button.
